We fell in love with the Na Pali Coast! This is one of Hawaii’s State Parks, featuring 16 miles of rugged coastlines, and it is not accessible by vehicle. You can hike or kayak, or you can take a boat tour.
Taking the guided boat tour, and spending the day at sea, is worth every penny. The views are unlike any we have seen anywhere else on our beautiful planet.
We are obviously not the only ones who felt this way, as directors have used Na Pali Coast for filming a number of movies including Jurassic Park, King Kong, Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar, Hook, and so many more.
Another really thing was the archaeological studies that are taking place in the area. There were digs taking place as we passed by. I found this to be very cool.
Na Pali Coast is one of the many reasons Kauai is considered the Garden Isle of the Hawaiian archipelago. This was by far one of my favorite parts of my trip to Kauai.
This tour had some amazing views, from the cliffs, to the beautiful turquoise waters. On the way back to the docks the sunset was stunning. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful day.
