Kentucky may not be at the top of your dream destinations list, but think again. Kentucky has some fabulous sites and tourism options that can be found no where else in the United States, and some, no where else in the world. And, with it’s central location, Kentucky is just a short drive away for many Americans. It is also a worthwhile state for international visitors to explore, for some one of a kind experiences.
There are plenty of natural wonders in the state, including the longest known cave system in the world, one of the US prime angling resort areas at the land between the lakes, and the foot hills of the Appalachians. Get to know the culture by driving the Bourbon Trail, experiencing the Kentucky Derby, or watching America’s iconic baseball bats being made. Or visit the birth home of one of the US most beloved presidents, Abraham Lincoln, as well as one of it’s lesser known, Zachary Taylor. Put Kentucky on your list of places to visit, as you will not be disappointed.
